Director of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Zoran Mastilo, Participates in the 18th International Congress on Eurasian Economies in Sarajevo

Prof. Dr. Zoran Mastilo, Director of the Institute and Professor at the Faculty of Business Economics Bijeljina, University of East Sarajevo, is participating in the 18th International Congress on Eurasian Economies, held on October 15–16, 2026, at the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo.

Participation in this significant international scientific event holds special professional and personal importance for Professor Mastilo, as he graduated from the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo, on December 23, 1987. Nearly four decades later, he returns to his alma mater as a university professor and researcher, where he will present his scientific paper and chair one of the congress sessions on October 16, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

The congress also provides a valuable opportunity to exchange scientific knowledge, strengthen international academic cooperation, and reconnect with long-standing friends and partners of the OIKOS Institute. Among them is Prof. Dr. Semra Boğa, together with her colleagues from Istanbul, who have regularly participated in the international scientific conference “New Economy,” organized by the OIKOS Institute, since 2019.
