Nowy Sącz – Kraków, Poland | June 11–12, 2026

The OIKOS Institute – Research Centre is pleased to announce the successful completion of the XIV Traditional Scientific Conference NEW ECONOMY 2026, held under the theme:

“New Horizons: Digital Economy and Responses to a Changing World.”

Over two productive and inspiring days, the conference brought together distinguished professors, researchers, scientists, experts, policymakers, and students from numerous countries around the world. Through scientific sessions, panel discussions, and professional exchanges, participants explored the most important challenges and opportunities arising from digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, innovation, and contemporary economic trends.

A special honour and distinction for this year’s conference was the presence of Her Excellency Ms. Koviljka Špirić, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Poland, who officially opened the conference and addressed the participants. The OIKOS Institute expresses its sincere gratitude to Ambassador Špirić for her support and participation, which further emphasized the international significance of this scientific gathering.

The conference once again confirmed its role as an important international platform for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of research findings, and strengthening of cooperation among universities, research centres, and other relevant institutions from different parts of the world.

The OIKOS Institute extends its special appreciation to the host institutions in Poland, partner universities, members of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, keynote speakers, panelists, authors, students, and all participants whose dedication, expertise, and commitment contributed to the success of this important international event.

We would particularly like to thank our hosts in Poland for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and excellent organization throughout the conference.

We are pleased to inform all participants that conference presentations, photographs, publication information, and other conference-related materials will be available on the official conference platform:
